Sölden is made up of winter, world stars, entertainment and unique skiing action in the Tirol Alps, all rolled into one. Sölden is a World Cup venue and one of the most well-known winter sports locations in the Alps. The generous range of pistes, with runs at all levels and outstanding preparation, make your winter holiday a unique experience.
33 modern lifts with the capacity to carry approx. 68,000 people per hour guarantee that you are transported quickly and without having to wait. Sölden stands for pure winter sport! Endless opportunities to ski to your heart's content. The winter ski resort is connected to the two glacier skiing areas via the Golden Gate to the Glacier lifts; this means that you can access glacier skiing at up to 3340 m directly from the resort itself.
The longest descent runs from the "Schwarze Schneide" on the Rettenbach Glacier down to the valley, a distance of approximately 15 km and a height differential of approximately 1900 m.
